JOB OPPORTUNITY The City of Metter is seeking qualified applications for a Water/Sewer Assistant. Minimum Requirements * High School Education or equivalent * Valid Driver's License * Be in good physical condition * Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations * Poses or have the ability to obtain a Class III Georgia State Water and Wastewater Certification or both Applications are available at City Hall at 49 South Rountree Street, Metter, Georgia. Office hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a. m. until 5:00 p. m. Applications will be accepted until October 24, 2025 or until the position is filled. The pay range for this position is $32,105 to $48,851. All job applicants being considered for employment shall be required to pass a drug and alcohol screening test prior to being hired.
