ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Statesboro Natural Gas System Relocation Hwy 301 Passing Lane GDOT Project Sealed bids will be received by the City of Statesboro at City Hall located at 50 E Main St, Statesboro, Georgia 30458 until: November 12, 2025 at 2:00 pm For the furnishing of material, labor, tools, skill, equipment and incidentals for the construction and installation of: Relocation of existing 6" HP main in Hwy 301 to clear conflicts with GDOT project for construction of a passing lane. Bids received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids should be submitted in a sealed envelope addressed to the above address for the City of Statesboro and to the attention of Darren Prather, Director of Purchasing. To be considered, the bid shall include a copy of the Utility Contractors License, appropriate insurance certificate and a summary list of contractor employees showing tasks and expiration dates for Operator Qualification under the current GMA OQ Plan. A mandatory pre-bid will be held at 22 West Grady St., Statesboro, GA 30458 in the courtroom at the Municipal Courthouse on November 3, 2025 at 10:00 AM to answer questions and review the details of the project. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The City of Statesboro reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities and re-advertise.
