NOTICE OF HEARING STATE OF GEORGIA ) BULLOCH COUNTY ) Notice to the public is hereby given that on June 8th, 2026, at 9:00 a.m., in the Superior Court of Bulloch County, at the courthouse in said county, a hearing will be held in the case of the State of Georgia v. City of Statesboro, Georgia, in said Court, the same being a proceeding to determine the matter of the confirmation and validation of the CITY OF STATESBORO TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT REFUNDING REVENUE BOND (OLD REGISTER TAD PROJECTS), SERIES 2026, in the principal amount of $4,750,000 (the "Series 2026 Bond"), to be issued for the purposes of currently refunding and defeasing the CITY OF STATESBORO TAX ALLOCATION DISTRICT REVENUE BOND (OLD REGISTER TAD PROJECTS), SERIES 2023, currently outstanding in the principal amount of $4,750,000, pursuant to the Redevelopment Powers Law (O.C.G.A. SS 36-44-1 et seq.), and other related matters. The Series 2026 Bond will not be deemed to constitute a debt of the City nor a pledge of the faith and credit of the State of Georgia, Bulloch County, or the Bulloch County School District, and shall not otherwise constitute an indebtedness or a charge against the general taxing power of the City, but shall be payable from a pledge of certain amounts, including certain positive ad valorem tax allocation increments of the City, Bulloch County and the Bulloch County School District and certain general funds of the City derived from the Tax Allocation District #2: Old Register. At said hearing, all persons having a right to be heard with respect to said the Series 2026 Bond and the validation thereof and all other issues to be presented to the court, may be heard.
