Invitation to Bid The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners is accepting sealed bids from GDOT Prequalified Contractors for this project: FY27-ENGCP-003-2 Cypress Lake Road Bridge Construction Project. The project consists of demolition and removal of an existing damaged bridge structure, construction of a new bridge structure, roadway construction items including embankment construction, construction of new approach slabs, subgrade construction, graded aggregate base construction, asphalt pavement construction, signing and marking, new guardrail installation, erosion and sediment control, water quality monitoring, and permanent grassing and stabilization. The project is located along Cypress Lake Road at the Dry Branch Creek crossing and approximately 1,500 feet east of the intersection of Cypress Lake Road at Country Club Road and near coordinates Latitude 32.393779, Longitude -81.856229. All contractors seeking to provide construction delivery services to Bulloch County for this project shall submit evidence of current active approval as a GDOT Prequalified Contractor in Work Class 500 Concrete Structures as it appears in GDOT's Directory of Prequalified Contractors webpage as of the bid submission deadline July 17, 2026, 2:00 PM EDT. Bidders are responsible for the actual delivery of sealed bids during normal business hours to the Bulloch County Procurement Office.
